How do I become a member?

Simply get in touch by clicking the link on our ‘Join Us’ page and we will send you a registration form. Membership is to Warrington Parents & Carers forum is open to any parent/carer of a child or young person with a disability or additional need who lives and attends/uses services in the borough of Warrington.

How much does it cost to become a member?

Membership is free. There is a small charge for some of our activity days and events.

My child does not have a formal diagnosis; can our family still become members?

If your child is currently undergoing an assessment or has additional needs which have not been formally diagnosed you can still become members – please contact us to discuss.

Do we have to attend all of the events and activities?

No, each family can get as involved as they would like to and are welcome to attend as many or as few of our events as they choose. All the events have a limited number of spaces so we do advise booking early for any you would like to attend. Booking details are given with details of our events.

Can siblings attend events?

Yes, Warrington Parents and Carers are here to support the whole family, this includes parents/carers and family members such as siblings as well as the child with disabilities or additional needs.

Can professionals join Warrington Parents and Carers?

Yes, professionals can become associate members and receive our newsletters and information emails. If your organisation plans and provides services for families in Warrington, join with us so that we can work together to make them more effective and help improve the quality of life for our families.

We need to build up a list of Frequently Asked Questions, based on the real-life experiences of our Parent and Associate Members.
