About this event
Please join us for an evening at Alford Hall Sports, Warrington, where we will be joined by Iain Macdonald and Neil Woodward.
Iain Macdonald will provide a ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ overview for young people moving from high school to post 16, including timelines. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
Neil Woodward, will present ‘Preparing for Adulthood and Carers Education Information Advice & Guidance’
Parents and carers are invited to meet Council officers to learn more about how quality CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) can support PFA (Preparation for Adulthood) planning.
Recent policy changes in education have added more focus to the careers advice and work experience duties for schools and colleges.
And for young people who are NEET (not in education, employment, or training), local authority officers are able to provide additional support and guidance.
