About this event
Preparing for Adulthood and Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance
Parents and carers are invited to meet Council officers to learn more about how good quality CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice &
Guidance) can support PFA (Preparation for Adulthood) planning.
Recent policy changes in education have
added more focus to the careers advice and work experience duties for schools and colleges. For young people who are NEET (not in education, employment, or training), local authority officers are able to provide additional support and guidance.
Specialist Nurse
The specialist nursing team provides post‑diagnosis support to children, young people and families following a diagnosis of a neurodevelopmental condition (ADHD, autism and / or a learning disability).
Neurodevelopment Pathway
This service provides assessment and diagnosis for possible neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD.
Come along and join us for a warm drink.
